Turnaround strategy for eurobank
Your client, Eurobank, is confronted with deteriorating net profits. In recent years, losses have eroded earnings and profits—the board of directors is worried that investors’ expectations cannot be fulfilled and asks you to steer the ailing bank back into safe waters. Aside from the traditional analysis of earnings and cost potentials, possibilities of a strategic realignment should also be looked into.
You and your team face the following tasks in the case study:
- Analyze Eurobank’s situation and highlight the ambition level for reaching the goals defined by the board of directors
- Suggest possible options for action by applying classic earnings and cost measures and explore ways for a holistic realignment of the business
- Your goal in the final presentation is to present options for action to the board of directors and to convince them of your proposals.
After the case study we will invite you to De Admiraliteit for a shared dinner. There you will have the opportunity to learn more about the zeb culture, colleagues and career path and getting insights into project life.
